StreetPrices was developed in Hilo, Hawaii, in a solar-powered rainforest shack. The site took shape between re-working the solar system, avoiding the wild pigs, and listening to the rain pound on the roof (over 200"/year!).
Now located in Santa Clara, CA, we track prices on millions of products online, and we still have a fondness for solar power.
From the beginning, we have focused on technological innovation, so you have the tools you need to get the best price on every purchase. We were the first site to offer price alerts and price graphs, and continue to offer useful tools you won't find anywhere else.
For example, our "search by specs" tool (based on data collected by our USA-based staff) lets you quickly find the cheapest product that meets your needs.
We were also the first site to offer verified price alerts — we make sure the price is actually available on the merchant's site before sending you email.
