For the money, the best on the market
This slow cooker has it all.
The probe is the stand out feature, but not necessarily useful for roasts because I'm looking for the roast to fall apart and not cook further. I used the probe on a pork roast set to 170 and it got there just fine, but it switches to warm after that. The roast was still rubbery at that point. Died the first time I used it!
I had been looking for a crock pot for awhile, and decided this one had all the features I needed. I had read the reviews about a few people having issues with it, but was hoping the company had improved their quality control and worked out the bugs. This was not the case! The crock pot died right in the middle of the first meal I made. Don't take a chance on this unit. The crock is of good quality, but the cooking housing feel cheap and the display is hard to read. And it breaks!
