01 Sep 2008Ok for a while, but stops working for no reasonI wanted this for its motion detect and wireless abilities. Initial setup was ok and I was quickly able to watch live video over the wireless link. The utility software has a poor interface, but it seemed to work ok.
I had a lot of trouble getting the motion detect feature to work, and I finally figured out this is because the utility in the web browser to set the motion detect area is an ActiveX control and doesn't work in Firefox. 31 Aug 2008Don't get it for motion detection.Encouraged with my previous experience with Linksys items, I went ahead and bought this camera that seemed to meet all of my needs. 640x480 resolution was fine for me, so no problem there. I'm experienced with networking, so setting it up for viewing via the Internet was no problem. Problems come from
